Use the mode that matches the job

The same rent amount can produce two correct but different answers.

Next rent due

$500 from each of 2 checks

$1,250 rent - $250 already protected = $1,000 left. Divide by two checks.

Every biweekly payday

$576.93 from every check

$1,250 x 12 months = $15,000. Divide by 26 standard biweekly checks.

Rent set-aside questions

How much rent should I set aside from each biweekly paycheck?

Multiply monthly rent by 12 and divide by 26 standard biweekly paychecks. A $1,250 rent becomes $576.93 per check after rounding up to cents.

Why is that not simply half of my rent?

Half from each of 26 checks funds 13 monthly payments. The recurring mode spreads 12 monthly payments across the 26 checks instead.

Which mode should I use?

Use Next rent due when a specific deadline is approaching. Use Every payday when you want the same annualized transfer on each recurring paycheck.

What if my income changes from check to check?

Treat the result as a target, then check rent, other bills, essentials, and a reserve against each real paycheck. Do not commit to a transfer that leaves the current pay window short.

Does ClientFlow Tools see my rent amount?

No. The amounts stay in the current browser tab and are not sent with the usage event.
